Inspired by a dream, Nanna Maria (Ruby Dee), the beloved matriarch of a large Fijian family, makes plans to name her successor at an elaborate feast. But longstanding animosity between several family members threatens to ruin the celebration before it starts. Writer-director Toa Fraser's touching comedic drama won the Sundance World Cinema Audience Award in 2006.
