When tragedy strikes and their daughter is killed in a car accident, Chris and Virginia Hytner (Adam LeFevre and Valerie Mahaffey) seek solace in trying to have another child. But according to their doctor (Mary Beth Hurt), the 40-something Virginia's only chance to conceive will come from cloning their dead daughter. Of course, when a reporter (Bridget Fonda) gets wind of the controversial procedure, the Hytners' privacy is no longer their own.
