Napoleon & Samantha

After the death of his grandfather, a young orphaned boy (Johnny Whitaker) takes to the wilderness with his pet lion and his friend (Jodie Foster), another young runaway. As the trio travels through the wilds of the Northwest, they meet a friendly mountain dweller (Michael Douglas), who helps them escape from dangerous forest animals, the police and a shady vagabond. This Disney film received an Oscar nod for Best Original Dramatic Score.
