Mysterious Island

In this fantasy adventure based on Jules Verne's novel, five prisoners of war escape from a Confederate detention camp in a balloon: a Union captain (Kyle MacLachlan), a slave (Omar Gooding), a nurse (Gabrielle Anwar), her daughter (Danielle Calvert) and a Confederate soldier (Jason Durr). But their joy at safely landing on an uncharted Pacific island quickly fades when they run up against pirates, giant beasts and a mad genius (Patrick Stewart).
