This animated film follows the adventures of the quirky Yamada family, drawn with digital technology to resemble the watercolor look of the popular "Nono-chan" comic strips. Jim Belushi and Molly Shannon lend their voices to father-and-mother team Takashi and Matsuko, who do their best to handle two children (Liliana Mumy and Daryl Sabara), a live-in grandmother (Tress MacNeille) and Pochi, the family dog.
