America's Sweetheart Mary Pickford stars as dime-store stock-clerk Maggie Johnson, who works alongside clumsy Joe Grant (Charles "Buddy" Rogers). Unbeknownst to Maggie, Joe is the head honcho's son, working incognito to prove himself to his father (Hobart Bosworth). Next thing you know, Maggie and Joe fall head over heels, which doesn't sit well with Dad: He's handpicked a rich society lass for his son. Will Maggie and Joe's romance survive?
