As reluctant partners on a gritty, inner-city police squad, Detective Susan Alembic (Amanda Donohoe of "L.A. Law") and Luke Stone (Kris Marshall of Love Actually) work side by side to solve a wide range of murders and mysteries. They have almost nothing in common -- Alembic takes a tough approach to law and order, while Stone prefers the unexpected -- but their differences create a tension that's electric.
