Based on detective Mark Fuhrmann's best-selling book, Murder in Greenwich tells the story of the 1975 murder of Greenwich, Conn., teenager Martha Moxley. Late in the 1990s, Fuhrmann (Christopher Meloni) became fascinated with the unsolved case and enlisted fellow detective Steve Carroll (Robert Forster) to uncover the truth about the murder, of which Kennedy cousins Tommy and Michael Skakel were the prime suspects.
