Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub) was a stellar police detective until the death of his wife left him an obsessive-compulsive wreck. The eighth season of the mystery-comedy follows Monk as he puts his brain to work as a private consultant -- albeit one with a few quirks. The series also stars Ted Levine as Capt. Stottlemeyer, Jason Gray-Stanford as absent-minded Lt. Disher, and Traylor Howard as Natalie, Monk's long-suffering assistant.
