Edith Bunker's brash, liberal cousin gets her own series in this spinoff from Norman Lear's classic sitcom "All in the Family." Tackling highly controversial subjects -- including Maude's decision to have an abortion -- the series stars Beatrice Arthur as Maude Findlay, an independent woman dealing with the challenges of living with her fourth husband, Walter (Bill Macy), her divorced daughter Carol (Adrienne Barbeau) and Carol's young son.
