In the third season of this popular 1970s sitcom, city girl Mary Richards (Mary Tyler Moore) is joined by her retired parents (Nanette Fabray and Bill Quinn), who move to the Twin Cities to be closer to their daughter. Meanwhile, a newly svelte Rhoda (Valerie Harper) still doubts her looks after winning an office beauty pageant, and the new station manager (Lois Nettleton) has the hots for Lou (Ed Asner).
