This British sitcom, set in 1920 in the village of Tilling on Sea, follows two difficult and stubborn old women (Prunella Scales and Geraldine McEwan) who continuously battle it out for social superiority by using unusual ammunition -- including dueling gardeners and recipes. Based on the celebrated novels of E.F. Benson and later airing on PBS, the quirky show also co-stars Nigel Hawthorne.
