After shooting someone in defense of his girlfriend (Jessica Morales), Manito's (Leo Minaya) once-hopeful future is no longer quite so bright. His family doesn't want to see him go down the same troubled path that his brother, Junior (Franky G), once traversed. Junior is doing time in prison for a drug charge -- a sentence he began just as he was poised to go to college.
