Reminding us that Lucille Ball was a movie star long before she became small screen's darling, this 1947 London-set mystery (directed by melodrama master Douglas Sirk) features Ball as an American dance hall girl named Sandra who's searching for a missing friend. When Sandra learns that her friend may be the victim of a serial killer, she agrees to help Scotland Yard set a trap. The cast also includes George Sanders and Boris Karloff.
