Ignited by a rock 'n' roll soundtrack, this stylish drama set in 1950s Germany chronicles the star-crossed love affair of Lulu (Jennifer Decker), a high-society German girl, and Jimi (Ray Fearon), the poverty-stricken son of a black World War II veteran. Scorned by a racist society and torn apart by the machinations of Lulu's mother, Gertrud (Katrin Sass), the bewitching young couple struggles to prove that love can conquer all.
