Everyday people rediscover love in these three loosely interwoven stories. A promising young boxer (Robert Townsend) with money problems gets a chance to make quick cash -- though there's a catch. A beautiful woman (Lynn Whitfield) and an unsophisticated fruit vendor (Andre Braugher) come to realize there's more to love than meets the eye. And a father (Louis Gossett) struggles to teach his son that violence is not the answer to his problems.
