Lower-rung criminal James Dean Ray (Kirk Harris) has spiraled out of control in a self-destructive pattern of drug dealing and robbery -- and when he's injured in a drive-by shooting, he reflects on the path his life has taken in this psychological drama. From an abusive childhood with his disturbed Vietnam-vet father, to his drifting, drug use and mistreatment of the woman he loved, Ray traces the path that's brought him to this moment.
