The small Western town of Curtis Wells is the backdrop for this series that depicts the love story between young Newt Call (Scott Bairstow) and Hannah Peale (Christianne Hirt), as well as the growing obsession that rich tyrant Clayton Mosby (Eric McCormack) has developed with Hannah, who bears a striking resemblance to his deceased wife. Rounding out the cast are Dennis Weaver, Diahann Carroll, Paul Johansson and Paul Le Mat.
