After the terrorist bombings of July 7, 2005, Mrs. Sommers (Brenda Blethyn) and Ousmane (Sotigui Kouyate) each travel to London to look for their missing children. United by their search, the women soon discover that although they are strangers, their children were not. From divergent backgrounds and faiths, Mrs. Sommers, a Christian, and Ousmane, a Muslim, find common ground in the hope that their children are alive.
