Sometimes, a dream deferred morphs into a lifetime of regrets. That's why Nick McCallum (Ryan Kwanten), a mechanic who longs to trade in his wrench for a surfboard, decides to go for it, even if it means seeking the help of a suspicious manager who moonlights, unbeknownst to Nick, as a drug runner. It also means going against the wishes of his father, a former surfing legend who lost his ability to walk after a horrible accident on the water.
