In this animated prequel to the beloved film classic, a brave circus lion from Nebraska becomes stranded in Oz, where the Wicked Witch of the East forces him to seek out an item that will increase her malevolent power: the Flower of Oz. Joined by a group of ragtag friends, the lion begins his quest, but it's not long before his courage begins to fail him. Jason Priestley, Tim Curry, Dom DeLuise and Lynn Redgrave provide the voice talent.
