Lonely astronomer David Sommers (Christopher Knight) unwittingly brings an extraterrestrial being to Earth in the form of Misty (Meadow Williams). Although he's made the research discovery of a lifetime and found the perfect woman, David's joy is short-lived. A unscrupulous fellow scientist (Eric Roberts) is out to claim David's research as his own, and Misty's precious life force is draining away the longer she's stranded on Earth.
