Taps meets The Breakfast Club in the inner city in this late 1990s answer to the Brat Pack flicks of the 1980s (with ex-Brat Packer Judd Nelson in attendance). When an incident with a high school security guard (Forest Whitaker) pushes a decent kid (Usher Raymond) past his breaking point, the boy unites a diverse and troubled student body to take the school hostage until they can make their voices heard.
