Ray (Steve Coogan) runs a thriving alibi service for adulterous husbands -- but when one of his clients accidentally kills his mistress, Ray is implicated in the murder. With both a local cop (Debi Mazar) and an enigmatic assassin known as "the Mormon" (Sam Elliott) pursuing him, Ray seeks help from new hire Lola (Rebecca Romijn) as he tries to pull a con to clear his name. James Brolin and John Leguizamo co-star in this fast-paced comedy.
