Since they don't know a soul in Toulouse, Bénédicte and Alain Getty (Charlotte Gainsbourg and Laurent Lucas) try forging a friendship with Alain's new boss (Andre Dussollier) and his wife (Charlotte Rampling) -- but soon enough, they end up regretting it. For one thing, on the day the Gettys invite the couple over for dinner, Alain finds a half-dead lemming stuck in his sink, an ominous incident that doesn't bode well for the events to come.
