In this devilish "nunsploitation" thriller from director Domenico Paolella, the death of St. Archangel's mother superior sparks a bitter feud between three cutthroat nuns who are eager to secure the convent's crown. In her bid for the throne, Sister Giulia (Anne Heywood) conspires with Don Carlos (Pier Paolo Capponi) to eliminate her rivals. Inspired by the writings of Stendahl, Paolella's effort also stars Ornella Muti as Giulia's niece.
