Martin) is promoted to senior detective, with Nina Cassady (Milena Govich) joining him in the junior spot, while Connie Rubirosa (Alana De La Garza) takes over as assistant district attorney. This season finds the team tackling cases inspired by Britney Spears and Kevin Federline; the October 2006 Amish school shooting; Mel Gibson's infamous anti-Semitic tirade; and more.
