An indefatigable detective (Giancarlo Giannini) is on the trail of a deranged serial killer with a unique method of murder: He abducts beautiful women and then injects them with the poison of a wasp, which paralyzes them just enough to witness their own agonizing deaths. Paolo Cavara directs this fine entry in the giallo genre of horror films, co-starring Claudine Auger and Barbara Bach, with a score by spaghetti Western composer Ennio Morricone.
