Raju (Govinda) and Urmila (Urmila Matondkar) fall in love while studying in New Zealand in this romantic comedy from director David Dhawan. When Raju must return to India, the lovers promise to reunite soon. On his way home, however, Raju meets Sharmila (Nagma), a pregnant woman who's been jilted by her boyfriend. Soon, he's agreed to pose as Sharmila's husband for her family. All goes smoothly until Urmila -- Sharmila's sister! -- shows up.
