In director Peter Yates' sci-fi adventure, Prince Colwyn (Ken Marshall) sets out on a daring mission to rescue his young bride (Lysette Anthony), who's being held captive by the horrific, omnipotent Beast. Slayers and alien beings under the Beast's command oppose the prince at every turn. To complete his mission, Colwyn must reach a faraway cavern to recover the legendary Glaive, the magical flying blade capable of killing the Beast.
