While observing the stars at a secret research lab, Dr. Leslie Gaskell (Jeff Morrow) observes a UFO hurtle into the ocean. Faster than you can say "Invasion of the Body Snatchers," lab director Dr. Hubbell Eliot (John Emery) is possessed by an alien intelligence. Gaskell teams with a colleague (George O'Hanlon) and his girlfriend (Barbara Lawrence) to stop the UFO -- which is actually a 10-story-tall robot -- from attacking Los Angeles.
