Konga

After a year in Africa, renowned botanist Charles Decker (Michael Gough) returns to England with Konga, a cute baby chimpanzee. It seems Decker plans to test a carnivorous plant serum on the animal that will accelerate Konga's growth. Soon the chimp becomes immense and -- at the behest of the mad doctor -- goes on a killing spree, the likes of which London hasn't seen since Jack the Ripper. John Lemont helmed this entertaining sci-fi yarn.
