The upper echelons of the Indian army are shocked when one of their own, Col. Balbir Singh Sodhi (Amitabh Bachchan), tries to assassinate a government minister (Danny Denzongpa). Presumed killed in a shootout, Sodhi is spotted years later, and his old comrade Maj. Ajit Arya (Nana) is sent to investigate. Big budget by Bollywood standards, this action thriller follows Arya as he tracks down Sodhi -- and uncovers the truth behind past events.
