After several years of frustration with trying to make a name for himself as an architect, Raj Malhotra (Shahid Kapur) comes very close to giving up -- until he meets an oracle who encourages him to employ a lucky charm to reverse his fortune. Raj soon discovers that the charm has come to him in the form of Priya (Vidya Balan), a woman whom he has previously clashed with on every level, but on whose presence he must now rely in order to succeed.
