Young Irishman Patsy Durack (Stephen Dillane) leaves the Emerald Isle to find a new future for himself in Australia. His friendship with an Aborigine (David Ngooburjjarra) helps him settle down in the new land, but tragedy strikes when the Aborigines themselves are removed from their ancestral lands. An epic story of family history and national pride, Kings in Grass Castles was originally made for television.
