After he's taken from his family in Iraqi Kurdistan, Ako (Nazmi Kirik) is forced to join Saddam Hussein's army and fight against neighboring Iran. Ako, who wants nothing to do with combat, is assigned to deliver the body of a fallen soldier to his family. After a flag-draped coffin is placed on top of an old station wagon, Ako sets off with the driver (Eyam Ekrem) across the Iraqi countryside on a surreal journey.
