Focusing on a dozen young lawbreakers, director Leslie Neale delivers an unblinking look at the juvenile criminal justice system. Among the offenders are a 15-year-old girl facing eight years for manslaughter and a 16-year-old boy serving 35 years for attempted murder. Narrator Mark Wahlberg -- who experienced adult prison firsthand after being arrested at age 16 on an assault charge -- also served as the film's executive producer.
