Set in the 1960s, this touching directorial turn from Danny Glover follows a young boy's not-so-run-of-the-mill summer. While at his summer job, 12-year-old Henry (Jeremy Sumpter) meets M. Hoagland (Carl Lumbly), an African-American mechanic who's fanatical about movies. Excited about what he learns, Henry decides he'll try to meet the star of a movie being filmed nearby … who turns out to be Marilyn Monroe.
