Told by a potential employer that her portfolio isn't personal enough, aspiring photojournalist Michaela (April Wade) embarks on a twisted journey into her own family's history, prompted by a startling letter sent from the Arizona State Penitentiary. Setting out to find her long-lost siblings, Michaela searches for kinship but stumbles into chaos. This gritty, unpredictable thriller won the Audience Award at the 2008 Dances with Films festival.
