John Lee Hooker: Come and See About Me
(2004)|
A blues legend born in Clarksville, Miss., in 1917, guitarist and singer John Lee Hooker spent more than half a century influencing musicians who came after him. His inimitable gravelly voice, distorted guitar playing and the ever-tapping foot that helped him keep time were his signatures. This tribute video includes rare footage of Hooker jamming with The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison and Bonnie Raitt, as well as interview clips.
