Joe

Bill (Dennis Patrick), a wealthy businessman, confronts his junkie daughter's (Susan Sarandon) drug-dealing boyfriend and ends up killing him. Panic-stricken, he goes to a bar and reveals his secret to a drunken factory worker named Joe (Peter Boyle) -- who, like Bill, hates hippies, blacks and anyone who's "different." The two search for Bill's daughter through the seediest parts of town, where both men's inner hatred is further tested.
