Let go from his job, foreman Clint Burnside (Roy Barcroft) plans to retaliate by tarnishing the reputation of his former boss's son, Philip (Ken Howell), with some help from local tavern owner Mike Carver (William Holmes). Roy Rogers is hired to replace Clint and proposes that they use a new type of irrigation equipment to survive the drought. Seeing their big chance, Clint and Mike convince Philip to carry out sabotage on their behalf.
