The citizens of a small Saskatchewan town are up in arms when an unwed mother (Estella Warren) accuses Dr. Darian (John Hannah) of drugging and raping her. The doctor's diabolical plan to outsmart the police -- to elaborate would ruin the mystery -- is based on the 1992 case of Dr. John Schneeberger. In an interview, director John Ketcham said of his film, "If this movie wasn't based on a true story, no one would believe this actually happened."
