After a troubled teenage patient commits suicide in front of him during a session, psychiatrist Craig Huffstodt (Hank Azaria) is forced to reexamine his own existence even as he continues to help others cope with the harshness of life in this Showtime series. Can he succeed with his family -- son Byrd (Anton Yelchin), brother Teddy (Andy Comeau), mother Izzy (Blythe Danner) and wife Beth (Paget Brewster) -- by his side? Or in spite of them?
