Two couples vacationing at a secluded castle on a California hillside find their perfect holiday destroyed when they begin to encounter strange apparitions. First a half-man/half-beast and a headless woman appear, then they're joined by a troupe of ghoulish circus performers who used to inhabit the manse. The angry ex-performers set out to make life hell for their uninvited guests.
