In 17th century Salem, Mass., the townsfolk go into a dither upon learning that the Sanderson sisters (played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy) are witches. Fearing their paganism, Salem hangs the trio, who vow to return and get revenge. Fast-forward 300 years. Ignoring local taboos to impress a classmate, teenage Max (Omri Katz) lights a candle and manifests the witches, unleashing the havoc that's been brewing since 1693!
