This convoluted thriller set in Germany is a story of East-West intrigue that evokes films about the Cold War era. When American tourist David McLean (Kevin Dillon) arrives in Berlin, he learns that his brother has been mysteriously murdered. Launching his own investigation, he finds himself entangled in a world of espionage between the CIA and former agents of the STASI -- Berlin's notorious secret police.
