Hero

A plane crashes. A mystery man emerges from the wreckage and saves passengers left and right. Who is he? That's what TV reporter Gale Gayley (Geena Davis) wants to find out, especially since he rescued her, too. The only clue Gale has is one of the man's shoes, which leads her to an angelic homeless veteran (Andy Garcia) -- who, unbeknownst to her, isn't actually the true hero; his friend, a two-bit crook (Dustin Hoffman), is.
