Richard Boone stars as the first "man in black," Paladin, in this seminal 1950s Western TV series. As well-versed in Shakespeare as in gunplay, Paladin is a mercenary gun-for-hire who always seems to fight with the white hats on the right side of any issue. Thirty-nine episodes of this cult favorite are included in the first season, which featured guest appearances by Jack Lord, Charles Bronson, Angie Dickinson and June Lockhart.
