This bloodier sequel picks up where the original ended. Michael Myers, still on the loose from a mental hospital, continues his lethal rampage on Halloween night at Haddonfield Memorial Hospital, where Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis) is recovering. With more victims in his wake, Myers's psychiatrist, Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasence), works with local authorities to stop the madness. John Carpenter co-writes and Rick Rosenthal directs.
